Learning Link Scotland: New Chief Executive

Learning Link Scotland has announced the appointment of Tam Hendry as its new Chief Executive.

Tam has more than 25 years experience in the third sector and is best known as the founder of the Edinburgh based charity Streetwork, where he was CEO for 17 years. Since leaving Streetwork he has worked both as a management consultant in the third sector and as a specialist in the area of corporate responsibility for the private sector.

George Thomson, Chair of Learning Link Scotland, welcomed the appointment saying “Tam Hendry has the qualities, experience and dynamism to lead the transformation of Learning Link Scotland and our objective to make a real difference for adult learners in Scotland. What’s more he’ll make it an enjoyable journey!”
