Centre for Confidence and Wellbeing
The Centre for Confidence and Well-being was launched at the beginning of December 2004 at an event in Glasgow called ‘Scotland’s Tipping Point’. Their approach is creative and entrepreneurial; positive and optimistic; rigorous, values led and committed.
Their website features regular blog posts from Carol Craig, Chief Executive of the Centre and the author of The Tears that made the Clyde: Wellbeing in Glasgow and Creating Confidence: A handbook for professionals working with young people. You can also find information on events, new resources and much more.
SCDCteam's Channel (Youtube)
The youtube channel from the Scottish Community Development Centre features a series of fascinating films highlighting the excellent work of Community Health projects across Scotland which have been supported by CHEX. The work described and shown in the films highlights what can be achieved through partnership working.
Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework
An excellent resource available on the SCQF website: an interactive version of the Framework so you can quickly and easily compare qualifications, and learn more about them. On the main site you can use the database tool to search for learning programmes that have been credit rated, and you can also navigate information by your role, be it learner, employer or learning provider.

We CTV
We CTV is a YouTube channel sharing the work from the Scottish Youth Parliament’s We CTV project. Dozens of creative, engaging and downright brilliant short films from young people across Scotland. We particularly enjoyed Mr Bob!
Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector
Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector’s website is a great portal for discussion and information sharing for colleagues; the noticeboard section lists events, consultations and fundraisers and the training programme section offers a comprehensive list of opportunities. Our favourite feature is the banner across the top of the site which runs striking statistics about the contribution the voluntary sector is making in Scotland’s biggest city.
