The key partnerships for effective delivery of CPD are with employers, including local authority, voluntary sector and other agencies. Learning needs to be integral to working practices and not an 'add-on'. Professional development practice needs to be shared across areas through CLD and Community Planning Partnerships.

Ideally partners would have CPD as standard practice with their employees, and that the CLD Strategy would integrate with theirs
However, I would suggest that the policy makers need to include CPD as standard in all policies, thus ensuring that it will be a requirement of funding - sorry if I'm cynical
