Robert Hynd
Robert is a Youth Learning Area Co-ordinator for South Lanarkshire Council, responsible for strategic development of area based CLD and for youth work in South Lanarkshire Schools. He was inspired to become involved in CLD by his own positive experience of youth work. He began by volunteering, then took an active role in youth committee management and finally took the plunge and opted for CLD as a career.
Robert joined the Approvals Committee because he is passionate about training. He believes that professional and pre-qualifying training in CLD must have a meaningful balance between theory and practice so that the communities we work for receive the best possible service.
