Richard Hardie
Richard is the Staff Development and Quality Assurance Manager at Dundee City Council, and the Chair of our Registration Committee. He joined the Standards Council because he wants to strengthen our field and ensure it has a significant voice which is heard by decision makers and the public, just as others professions are heard. He believes a recognisable and credible identity is essential to the development of the profession.
Richard has seen many changes over the course of his career and, while he welcomes the recent increase in partnership working, he is believes this makes it more important than ever that we clearly define our practice and processes in order that they are respected and understood.
