Mary Robb
Mary is a volunteer with a Social Enterprise firm in the Highlands. She joined the Standards Council because she sees it as an opportunity to raise the profile of CLD in Scotland and beyond. She thinks the diversity of practitioners who make up the Council ensure it has a strong, authentic voice - we are supporting for ourselves the sort of community development we support in the field!
Mary believes that CLD strengthens Scotland's capacity to question authority, making our country and communities more democratic and robust. The commitment to social justice underpinning our work enables people to come together and raise their standard of life.
