Gillian Lithgow
Gillian is Practice Development Manager at YouthLink Scotland and the Chair of our CPD Committee. A youth work specialist, she enjoys the excitement and challenges of working with young people, particularly their energy and enthusiasm, and their frankness and honesty in tackling issues head on. She believes that CLD builds stronger communities, and stronger communities build a stronger Scotland.
Gillian joined the Standards Council because she believes it will support those currently employed in the sector, whether paid or volunteers, to improve their practice and provide better services for the young people, adults and communities they work with. She wants to help develop a strong, proficient workforce fit for the challenge of delivering excellent CLD opportunities in the 21st Century.
