Dominique Carlisle-Kitz

Dominique is Evaluation and Improvement Manager for East Renfrewshire Council. A key part of her remit is to support the youth and community support teams to plan, manage and evaluate their work and assist them in preparation for HMIe inspections. This involves her planning and delivering training and support to staff on an ongoing basis and helping them maintain a high standard of service. She joined the Standards Council because she believes it can establish credibility for the sector and ensure the professional status it deserves. She also values the Council as a space to share best practice and expertise, and allow others to learn from it.

Dominique is committed to the ethos of supporting individuals and communities to reach their potential and influence service design and delivery. CLD staff have a key role to play by providing tailor-made support to groups and individuals to enable them to identify their own learning and development needs. The Standards Council is a valuable vehicle to maintain and build this work nationally by building the support to and skills of staff who work in the field.
