Crawford Bell
Crawford is a Senior Youth Worker at YMCA Scotland. Having qualified as a Community Education Worker, and worked with and within a number of fields including Health and Education, he believes that CLD is seen by other professions as the poor relation. This motivated him to join the Standards Council; he believes it is vitally important in redressing the balance and giving CLD its proper professional place through the development and promotion of the sector.
Crawford is a passionate advocate of CLD work and believes the Standards Council can be a body that develops and supports practitioners to be even more effective in the communities they serve.
